Well, I didn't get the postiion, as mentioned in my previous post.
So I am still doing the same stuff as before, slogging away on the front lines.
One day, when something else comes around, I will go for that one too.
Either I am a glutton for punishment or an eternal optimist.

Hang in there... I haven't been able to find permanent employment yet, but last week a recruitment agent called me (at 5.30pm on Tuesday) and said, "we desperately need a temp for a week, starting tomorrow morning, can you do it?" and I said YES!! It's something, anyway :) Something will come your way.
ReplyDeleteIn that case -- it was never meant to be (the eternal optimist's position :). After spending SO much time in hospitals and nursing homes this year my hat is off to those of you in the nursing profession. You're my heroes.
ReplyDeleteStace: Good that you got something, even if just temporary. Those things sometimes lead to something permanent. I still have a job - was just looking to move up a bit.
ReplyDeleteAndrea: Perhaps you are right. But disappointing all the same.
And thank you for recognizing those of us who care for all of you.
Ah buggar!
ReplyDeleteBut I can't shake off this feeling for you something else the universe has lined up.....
The other thing is you've got guts woman, how many people do the "I wish I had of put in for that..."
...and never take the next step.
You are being the change in your life.
Way ta go Ponygirl.

Pam: Ah buggar is right! I am disappointed but... whatever! Something else will happen at some point, some where.
ReplyDeleteOne thing I am not afraid of is change. It has been a constant in my life from day one. Guess I will will just have to wait and see what the universe has in store for me, eh!
