It would seem that the cold spell has ended... well, at least for the time being. It is a tropical -8C outside right now and has been all day. It hasn't moved from that temperature since I got up this morning and it is now 6:30 p.m.
So either the weather gods are looking upon us a bit more favourably, or the weathernetwork thingy on my computer taskbar is stuck.
I prefer to think of it as favourable. ;-)
Being a balmy day, it was time for a trip to the dog park. My sister and her two pooches joined us. It was warm enough that no one had to wear boots except us humans. The dogs tore around and had a blast and we walked for almost an hour! Even though I take Zoƫ out every day for a walk, some are quite short - like when it is -46 with the wind and even bundled from head to toe, I just can't stand to be outside for much longer than 10 minutes.
Can I put in an order for an early and relatively dry spring, please? I am tired of winter already....

That's global warming for ya! Don't forget your sunscreen!
ReplyDeleteEros, we need sunscreen even when it is -40! When it is that cold, there is very little chance of snowfall so it is usually blazingly brilliant. Sunscreen and sunglasses are a definite must have.
